Chamber Music
Chamber music is important in my life. In addition to a career as an orchestral musician, ensemble and chamber music is the icing on the cake. These are my three long-standing ensembles.
A string quartet is a must in the life of a viola player. Prosperus4 allows me to browse the fantastic quartet repertoire. We have over 15 years of concerts behind us.
Claude Debussy's famous sonata for flute, viola and harp inspired many composers to write for this combination of instruments. An important and varied repertoire was born.
Duo Janssens - Deleux
Together with pianist Erwin Deleux, I perform the most beautiful works for viola and piano. Anyone who thinks the repertoire is limited is seriously mistaken!
I can also be heard regularly in various formations, with friends and colleagues, or seizing new opportunities that come my way.
